MATTR Wallet accessibility statement
Last Updated: 24 May 2023
MATTR is committed to ensuring our products and platforms are accessible to people with disabilities.
We believe that a wallet must be inclusive and the MATTR Wallet has been designed to facilitate an accessible user experience.
We draw upon industry standards and accredited accessibility partners to apply best practices.
Our accessibility goals
Our aim is to ensure that the wallet is as accessible as possible. We use the industry standard Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), developed by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative.
Our goal is to make the MATTR Wallet experience logical, simple to read and understand and, hopefully, easier for users to achieve the outcomes they need.
We have dedicated time and resources to make the MATTR Wallet experience functional, engaging and interactive. These are key areas we’ve addressed to assist in accessibility:
- Focus and emphasis on assisted navigation
- Navigation behaviours
- Signposting and labelling
- Colour and contrast
- Touch zones
- Text size
The wallet works on both Android and iOS operating systems. Due to the native influence, there are small, cosmetic differences to the wallet on each system, however, the fundamental adherence to accessibility standards has been implemented across each platform.
We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and will always aim to apply relevant accessibility standards.
The wallet has undergone a number of checks, utilising industry standard and best practice tooling such as:
- Screen readers
- Screen magnifiers
- Keyboard only checks
- Colour contrast checks
- and a variety of automated and manual checks
The wallet is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
