Presentation workflows

One of the key features of mDocs is their versatility, as they can be verified via multiple secure channels to match different use cases:

• Proximity (in-person) verification: mDocs use Bluetooth Low Emission (BLE) as the communication protocol between the holder and verifier devices for proximity (in-person) verification workflows, as defined in ISO/IEC 18013-5:2021. The entire workflow can be completed end-to-end with no internet access for either the holder or the verifier.
• Remote (online) verification: mDocs implement the OID4VP specification to enable online presentation and verification, compliant with ISO/IEC 18013-7. mDocs support both same-device and cross-device online verification workflows.
